| Rabies Shot My little baby yorkie is 12 weeks today and has an appt for her rabies shot on June 2nd. She only weighs 1.8 pds, is it too soon?? Im nervous about it. Also, how old has everyone waited to take their dogs in to get groomed as puppies? |

| I thought that 3 months was too early so I waited until mine was 7 months before I made the appt for him to get his rabies shot. Hopefully someone can answer your question. |

Peeka Boo I See You! Donating Member | I personally feel it is to early and to little. I wait the maximum time to get it done which is by 6 months here but i just got Daisy's rabies on Monday and she is 7 1/2 months old and weighs 3 lbs 8 ozs.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | 3 months is still a little too soon IMO. i would wait till at least 4 months, 6 months if you really wanna put it off. Some get it done when they get spayed or neutered at 6 months i got morgan done at 16 weeks i believe that way i could take her places with me knowing that she was up to date with all vaccines.

| I took Benjamin at 12 weeks. for shots.. ummm im not really sure which shots it was the vet said he needed 3 sets of 2... i dont know if that is all rabies or not... But he was worried about giving him shots on the same day because of his size.. I dont know my vet is some what holistic so i kinda trust his judgement.... |
