| AKC standards specify that Yorkies should weigh 7lbs or less. (about 3.18kg or less) A good book to read, which will answer all your questions and many more is, "Yorkshire Terriers for Dummies". VERY informative (despite the name, haha), really helped me to learn about Yorkies! It's not at all dull or tedious to read. 3kg is about 6.6lbs, I believe.
