Pray for my baby Tomorrow my baby, Pebbles, goes in for her spay. I am so nervous for her I am a wreck. She is 7 months old and 3.5 pounds. She is also getting multiple baby teeth pulled, and micro-chipped. I am sure things will work out fine, but she just seems so small and helpless. I know I will be fighting back tears, as I hand her over. Please pray for both of us. Joe and Pebbles

| Prayers going out for your baby girl! I know it's scary, but it's great that you get to bring her home that same day.

I had to go through this today with Hannah. I had to have her there between 8 and 9-I showed up at 9:05-and I hated handing her over too. I felt alot better after I talked to her vet Tammy. Hannah has to stay over night though and that was the worst thing for me to handle. They make them all stay overnight. I got to visit Hannah at 5:00 this evening and she is doing great-just very drowsy-which is a good thing so she can sleep. I can't believe how good she was doing so fast. I will be thinking about your baby tomorrow...

Well I dropped her off. Now it is all quiet at home, while I wait. Of course she wouldn't do her normal morning poop, and she got carsick on the way there. They say I should be able to pick her up arond 4 pm. Joe

Aww!! I remember that day as much as I try to forget it!! Sheba recovered very quickly ~ much quicker than my husband and I did from the stress of it all!!! My husband would wake up in the middle of the night and turn the light on to check on her! She sleeps with us. She wound up taking out her own stitches a few days earlier than they were to be taken out and the little patch of hair grew back tout sweet! 4 o'clock will come quickly....especially if you're pacing like I did! The vet that I have now has a visitation room for after your dog is done with their surgery where you can go in a room and sit with them while they're coming out of the anethesia. If they have to stay overnight you can stop in at 9 p.m. and say goodnight and they have someone who stays in the recovery room all night who you can call even if it's 2 a.m. and see how they're doing. And they're installing video so you can log onto the computer and keep an eye on things. He costs a little more but he also gives us his cell phone number when he's not going to be in the office and will come to the house if you need him to. He says that a large part of his job is keeping the mommies and daddies calm and he does a great job keeping ALL of us happy. (You should see his boarding rooms! 4 post beds and heated floors!) If you're not going to breed, this is a necessary thing. Its alot better than having male dogs jump your fence or be waiting at the door when they're in heat!!

Well my baby is home. She is sure tired, and not herself. She had 8 teeth pulled, including all 4 canines. She even has some stitches in her mouth! They tried to cut an e collar to fit her, but it still looks too big. For tonight I will just stay with her, and watch her. Thanks for all the prayers. Joe
