| Tear stain I was wondering one of my dogs Tali has a problem with her tear stain. It is not like normal stain it doesn't run down her side of her nose or face. Instead it clumps right in the corner of her eye. And lately in the morning and some time during the day she has been green stuff in her eye. I took the green stuff and the clump off her eye tonight to see if that does thing. Does anyone have this problem? Is there any thing I can do to prevent this or should I go see the Vet. Thanks stephanie |

| Regular redish eye boogers...not unusual, but green...somethings up. I'd have a vet check it out.

| I'd second that. I think regardless of if you are a human or dog or whatever... green or yellow signals infection. same as if you have a runny nose-- if it's clear, your fine, but the green stuff means BAD cold or sinus infection. I hope your little one is okay! mine gets the tear goobers but also gets these hard crusties on the bridge of his nose. very hard to get off! anyone else get these??

| I also agree. I don't think green is a good color for any discharge. The vet sounds like the best bet. Hope it's nothing serious. Let us know.

| Yep, green is probably pointing to an infection...
