| Sam's home again! Sorry for taking so long to update you on how Sam is doing. My mom and I picked him up this past Tuesday and he's doing really well. His ears are starting to go up so he looked different from when we dropped him off at the hospital. Anyway, he's eating like a little piggy, still coughing some, but mostly in the morning and nite, and he's on antibiotics for 7 more days. Hopefully we're coming to the end of this terrible time. He needs to get his vaccinations soon. I'm still not 100% relieved just b/c last time we brought him home 2 wks ago he was fine for 3 days and then turned worse again. So I'm just taking one day at time and just am thankful for him improving. Thank you all so much for your support throughout all of this. It was nice to have someone to turn to other than family. I have some questions about when I can start using stuff like frontline. Also, when is too early to get groomed? He's 11wks now. I don't want to do it until he is better b/c I am afraid he'll catch another cold. He is in desperate need of some freshening up though....poor little man. Thanks again!!

| I'm glad Sam is doing better. You might want to ask your vet about frontline and such. I use revolution and it does a variety of things (heart worms, fleas, ticks, worms, ear mites, and some kinds of mange) and it can be used on puppies 6 wks and older. But i would def. ask your vet. But anyways, hope you are having fun with your little one, and can't wait to see more pictures! |

| I can't believe how much of a stinker my little baby is! We have to give him antibiotics for 7 days, but they gave us pills, not the liquid which they gave last time (and was A LOT easier!). My mom and I have tried EVERYTHING!!...cheese, cottage cheese, hot dogs, watermelon, mixing w/ nutrical, honey, yogurt...you name it, we've tried it. We've ended up just giving it to him by opening up his mouth and putting it down his throat. He's a stubborn little man too! He turns his head the whole time. He's been doing really great though. Yesterday my mom took him outside for a bit b/c he hasn't been outside since he was sick. She said he hopped all through the grass like a bunny and ran right to a tree where he automatically did his business!! I couldn't believe it. We also got the shirt I ordered for him in the mail yesterday, but it's still too big. It's a little gray sweatshirt...ADORABLE! Does anyone know where I can find puppy clothes to fit a 2lb? I really want him to get used to wearing shirts when he's young. Thanks!
