| I have never heard of such a desease. It's amazing what we learn on this site. That is a very sad story beause so many dogs may die. I hope not many have contacted this and they get it under control fast. |

| I have known of brucellosis especially the livestock industry being tested for it. But not in dogs. Many breeders do require a brucellosis before a stud is used on your bitch or your stud used on their bitch. But the tests have never been positive. This is very very scary especially since the authorities don't know if it has been contained or this person has sold dogs with it elsewhere. |
