| Check for the tick transmission... of Lyme disease in your state...I've seen a lot of posts on here lately about finding ticks, & we are in tick season now, so I thought I would post this chart to see how much risk you're actually in for contracting the illness depending on where you live....it appears N.Y. has the most cases... if you find a tick on your pet maybe this will put your mind at ease knowing if your risk is pretty low of it being contaminated w/ Lyme... http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dvbid/lyme...sesbyState.htm

| Wow! I am not sure how accurate that is because I have known three people in the last 5 years that have had lyme disease. All three, were hard to diagnose and were gradually tested for this and that was what it was. In fact, one was Mojo's groomer and it was two years ago. One was my cousin and it was last year and one was a friend it and it was about 4-5 years ago. So maybe there are more out there that for some reason aren't showing up. Wow! I wonder why NY is so high.......I figured there would be a greater number in the southern states, since we are normally damp, hot and humid (perfect tick weather). I'm glad though....but I know we always have TONS of ticks....especially here because we live in the woods w/ lots of wild animals. YUCK....YUCK....YUCK! I hate ticks!!!!
