Gastro digestive tract infection Sophie tried to eat a slug but I stopped her before she swallowed but whatever she digested from it gave her a gastro digestive tract infection. She was throwing up constantly and sometimes it was clear with blood specks in it.

Hmmm.... if there is blood in her vomit, you might want to phone the vet and ask him what you can give her.

vet Sorry I didn't say that I dropped her at the vet today and that is how I know she has that. They started her on a antibiotic and she has to stay there overnight to make sure she through throwing up. Are slugs poisonous? I know frogs are.

Beware of slugs! Sophie has been at the vet for two days because they won't let her come home until she is through vomiting. The vet said that she probably will have to stay the weekend. That is four whole days I won't get to see her. If I stop by to see her she will get upset so I can't do that.
