| Food Recall (again!@!*) I just got this email from Dr. Jon, from PetPlace.com, DogCrazy Newsletter. He send these newsletters out once or twice a week and I like his common sense attitude. (Am I allowed to put this link up?) I got this email about new food recalls today. If you need to find dog food, go the very very left side of your computer screen and in tiny letters you'll see Dog - click on this. "Thanks to so many of you for your emails - I got tons and tons of stories about how frustrated you are with this entire pet food recall. I also received a lot of questions that you still have. I will try to answer all of them during the next days, in order to help you get through this overwhelming flood of information (sometimes not very useful), so be sure to stay tuned to our site and newsletters for up-to-date information. Right now, let me tell you about the latest findings. Last week, it was reported that melamine contaminated not only wheat gluten but also rice protein concentrate and corn gluten. All of these products originated from China and were distributed to the U.S. and Canada. This lead to the recall of several more products including lines within "Natural Life", "Natural Balance", "Royal Canin" and "Spa Select". This is affecting several foods, many of which are dry foods. PLEASE keep your eye on the recall list! I suspect there will be more. Most of the foods have been pulled from the grocery shelves but you may still have some recalled foods at home. For a full history of the recall and a phone number and link to the full list, go to our Pet Food Recall Update (click the following link): http://clicks.aweber.com/z/ct/?injFXHzCN_NX5xTgsoIs0A One question that many of you asked is: What is the FDA Doing to Investigate the Pet Food Contamination? I checked around and found some information for those of you that are interested. They have an ongoing investigation but still don't know 100% the cause of the problem. For the full story go to our article "What is the FDA Doing to Investigate the Pet Food Contamination?" (click the following link): http://clicks.aweber.com/z/ct/?sFAP_ksK3Ar9LUgeUCtY_w If you have any questions, send them to me. I won't be able to respond to every email but I'll try to include answers to your questions in my next update. Regards, Dr. Jon"
