Ears Louie keeps scratching his ears, he has been to the vet but he is fine, no infection, but when I give him his face wash in the morning I have started to look down his ears and he sure has a lot of hairs down there, do you think this could be why? I keep thinking I would itch with all that hair down there I have asked our groomer when he can start having a hair cut and she said 5 months, he's only 14 weeks now, do you think she might just do his ears for me now, and no, before you ask I won't do it

I do my own grooming and that includes pulling the ear hair. If there is too much hair in the ear, it can actually hold moisture and cause ear infections. You may want to buy some ear drops that are made to dry the ear inside after a bath. And yes, the groomers pull the hair but it's extra.

Thanks for that information, I think I will go to the groomer tomorrow and ask if she does the ear drops, if not the vets, and also ask her to give him a quick snip Thanks again

Most groomers carry the Ear Cleansing/Drying Solution. It's called OtiRinse. It may be a little expensive, but it lasts a very, very long time. (It's for cats too).
