I had the same response from eagle pack. I replied that every other company had happily obliged to sending me a sample, and thanked her for making it easy to remove their food from my list of brands to try. I also told her it was not an economically wise decision, as if I had liked her product I would have spent alot of money on it over the course of my dog's life Some ppl are a dollar wise and a penny stupid
You might want to remove Eagle Pack from the list of samples. I wrote them, and they declined.

I did say 'most' of them would send a sample (not all!)
The main intent of the sticky was just to provide a reference list for people who have questions about super premium foods since these are the most frequently talked about foods.
PS - I've found that a lot of the health food stores have samples of these foods (I was able to obtain Eagle Pack samples in store at a health food store near me). Check the individual vendor's website for retail locations - hopefully there are some near you!

Yay! Thanks for the list!
I seen a big ad in one of my local papers where a doggie daycare (DoggieWatch) is now carrying holistic, healthy, human grade, premium dog foods. Places are really picking up on the idea that we are looking for these kinds of foods and local places to buy them.

Smile Very Helpful list

The list you complied is very helpful. I, for one, really appreciate your time and effort.

I have Yorkie males, age 5.5 yrs. and I have just purchased Innova adult dry food. I did notice that it has 24 g. of protein and I wonder if I should have purchased the reduced fat version. I would like your opinion.

I have been primarily looking for dry food that would trigger no allergic reaction.

I am also curious about the Yorkshire terrier specific breed dog food put out by Proctor and Gamble. Read one post that did not speak very highly of this product.

Fromms declined too when i asked for a sample, and this is what they told me, so i guess we will be trying something else...
Thank you for your interest in our product and Fromm Family Foods.

We would love to send your dogs samples; however, due to an unprecedented number of sample requests during the past month we currently don’t have any of our dry food samples available. Until we restock, feel free to purchase a small bag of one of our products and give it a try. Keep your purchase receipt and the UPC code of the bag, and if for any reason you or your dogs are not satisfied with Fromm, we always guarantee a full refund.

Currently, we have 3 product lines for dogs: Fromm Family Classics, Gold Nutritionals®, and Four-Star Nutritionals®. All of our dry products for dogs utilize top quality human-grade USDA inspected ingredients with added vitamins and minerals.
<LI class=MsoNormal style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1">Our Fromm Family Classics line is primarily formulated with fresh chicken and includes products designed for adult dogs, senior dogs, and dogs looking to lose weight. <LI class=MsoNormal style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1">Our Gold Nutritionals® line is formulated with multiple fresh protein sources including fresh duck, fresh chicken, fish, and fresh lamb. Aside from adult and senior/weight loss formulas our Gold Nutritionals® line also has 2 puppy formulas; Puppy Gold and Large Breed Puppy Gold.
Four-Star Nutritionals® is all about variety. Each recipe is formulated for all life stages and is suitable for puppies, adults, and senior dogs. Because each recipe has a similar blend of fresh fruits, vegetables, brown rice, and potatoes it is encouraged to switch between each variety monthly, weekly, or even daily.
Would your dogs be interested in sampling our wet food? If so, please review our website and select a recipe that you think they would enjoy the most.
If you have any further questions, please let us know.

Default TIMBERWOLF AND Merrick

Paula,
We are currently out of samples but they should be available in the near future on our website.

Hello,

Thanks for inquiring; unfortunately, we do not send out samples. The retail stores generally have samples that they can issue. I would advise that you contact a store that carries our products and request a sample. To find a store in your area you may visit our web site at www.merrickpetcare.com, click on Store Locator and then enter your zip code and it will display a list of stores within your zip code area.

If the stores do not have any samples, the next thing I would suggest is to purchase a small bag of food risk free because if your dog doesn’t like it, your money will be refunded. Please keep your receipt in the event your dog does not like the food.

If I can be of further assistance let me know.

Best regards,

Ruby

Default Evanger samples

Evangers sent me a large box of about 12 cans of canned food and 6 sample bags of dry. My baby has loved them all so far.
