| Is Nutro Ultra okay? It is so scary with all these recalls on food. Has anyone heard anything bad about Nutro Ultra (all natural ingredients)? It has a Holistic formula? My dogs love it, but I want to make sure it is okay? I did have them on Royal Canin and heard a recall on that. I just feel so unsure what to feed these guys. Unfortuately for a few months I did mix some of the recalled moist food in their dry, but I don't think they got enough to be affected. I am taking them to the vet for some blood work next week. (After I get paid) I am willing to change their food again if I need to.

| Because of the reports of dogs getting very sick from a Nutro product, I would not feed any of it.

| Ellie May Hi, I have seen the wet food recall of last year, and I have seen the posts you directed me to about the dry food and owners reporting sickess with the DRY fomula's. BUT there are no reports on the internet about Nutro DRY food and sickness in the UK. I have reported my problems to Nutro, and had a long chat with someone from Nutro UK today. There seems to be no press about anyone in the UK getting sick pets with the dry version. I admit it does concern me what I have read. BUT why hasn't anyone in the UK mentioned similar to those in the USA I seem to be the only one in the UK who has expressed concerns to NUTRO surely if the dry was that bad, there would be much more comments about it here in the UK ....... I am so |

Good point, but being in the UK we can't get most of the GREAT FOODS you all do. When you say more problems recently do you mean since the end of last year ? | |

| I'm sure Nutro UK and Nutro USA are manufactured in different places, so maybe that is why there are no reports of it there. Some dogs are just sensitive to some foods and maybe this is one of them for your dog? You could always homecook.

| My mistake, I thought they were all made in the same place. The guy from Nutro UK told me today that it is made in California ??? He must be sensitive to something in it, that's what I thought, but why after 17 months he was fine before that. Ellie May you are a fountain of knowlege, Look at the ingrediant list of the Arden Grange, I was told it has no Wheat Gluten Corn or animal derivitives in it: No wonder I am really upset look at all this little lot: Ingredients Fresh Chicken (min 19%), Chicken Meal* (min 19%), Whole Grain Rice, Potato, Chicken Fat*, Beet Pulp, Egg Powder, Fish Meal*, Dried Brewers Yeast, Linseed, Fish Oil*, Minerals, Vitamins, Nucleotides, Prebiotic FOS, Prebiotic MOS, Cranberry Extract, Chondroitin Sulphate, Glucosamine Sulphate, MSM, Yucca Extract. * Preserved with mixed tocopherols and rosemary extract |

| If it is made in California then they are both made in the same place I guess. That being said, maybe people in the UK aren't reporting bad effects because there is some kind of problems.
