| Treats What treats do you fellow yorkie-owners feed your little ones? Curious, and trying to see what is mostly popular nowadays for them. |

| I feed so many different treats! Because i'm doing agility training I have different levels of treats - plain ones and exciting ones. I feed "schmakos" as my general basic treat cos they're dry and easy to cut into tiny yorkie bits and don't go gross in your pocket if you forget about them. They're an australian thing that I don't think you get in the US. My next level of treat is Nutro any of the treats - the training bits smell soo good - I love molasses - and the yorkies do too! Or Ziwipeak - which is a New Zealand jerked meat treat all natural ingredients. The fur kids will work pretty hard for that. For Agility classes they get sausage - real beef or lamb sausage. Cooked up especially the night before. Just tiny little bits because it's so rich. Dixie my itsy bitsy 6.5lb baby did a 6 foot A frame for sausage !! Bless her little cotton socks! Or sometimes little bits of cheese. And for tomorrow we've got an extra special treat - because we're doing a full agility run and I REALLY need Dougal to focus - no second chances on this run - I've cooked up some real lamb for him. Can we say SPOILT! I'll get the left overs - LOL!!

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | http://www.yummychummies.com/ It's an Alaska-made treat made from salmon, and dog owners here all agree that it's doggie crack.

My furkids Donating Member | I just bought Canidae treats for the girls yesterday. The ones I bought have peppermint in them..supposed to be good for their breath and tarter control. They love them. I also will give them raw carrotts, broccoli, green beans, apples, and a tiny peice of cheese if they are really really good!

| We give our babies apples (cut and peeled), bananas (for Emma, not Miko), watermelon, cheerios (Emma likes them, Miko doesn't), bread (Miko loooves bread), Vitakraft yogurt drops (I think you can buy them at Petsmart), yogurt (Stonyfield organic), stuff like that Regular doggie treats have too much protein for my liver compromised baby, Miko, so natural foods that are good for him are the treats we give both of our babies.

| Conner eats Buddy Biscuits soft & chewy (they also have crunchy). They are natural and corn free. They are made by Cloud Star and have many flavors (chicken, beef and bacon & cheese). Conner loves them all!!

| I have looked for the yogurt drops at our Petsmart and they never have them. I got something called Choco Milk Drops by Vitakraft and Chase likes those for a change, but he adores Pupperoni (more dog crack). |

| The only time I give treats to the girls is during training - Cheerios or Best Buddy treats. They are only 13 weeks old so I worry that too many treats will upset their tummies.
