| ratio Okay, let me try this again. I'm trying to find out the ratio of protein to carbs to veggies when I am home cooking for my furbaby. Can anyone help me??????? |

| Just to let you know, veggies are carbs with more fiber... but still in the carbs category... so you really want to know what your protein/carbs/fat ratio is...

| ok.. just found a site for ya.. that said "For dogs use a basic ratio of 75% carbohydrate foods (grains and vegetables) to 25% meat. The needs of performance dogs, the age, stress, breed or individual requirements, as well as gestating or lactating bitches will alter the basic diet needs" and here's the link to that site http://missvickie.com/recipes/dog1.htm
