Donating YT 14K Club Member | I hate fleas. Fortuantely in my neighborhood, everyone takes really good care of their yard and we don't have them. We've lived here over a year and I've yet to find one on my babies. If I were you, I would go to the vet and get some drops like Advantix. This takes care of fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes. It probably cost $9 a month to keep your pet much happier...it's worth it. Also, they have a certain heartworm pill...don't know if your pup is on them...that will also take care of this. You need to be very careful. Fleas can also invade your home. When my husband and I were dating, he had some type of bird dog that was infested with them. He let his dog come into the house at night. Didn't take long...you walked into his house and fleas would start jumping all over you. |

| fleas Be sure to vacuum and washing his bedding. Fleas do not live on the dog, they jump on to feed on blood and jump off to lay eggs in furniture, carpets, bedding, etc. Have yoiu tried a heratworm med that prevents fleas also?...fleas bring tapes worms and it is round and round cycle. |

| yes toby has some advantage, but i am really bad at giveing him the does EVERY MONTH....... i usually put it on everytime fleas start to reappear, i guess its about time....... and we dont have fleas at my house, i am at my moms house right now and that is where they came from usually when i come home from my moms house we give him a bath right away, but i am housesitting for the weekend so all my doggy stuff was left at home (except for the essentials of course ) |

| have you tried Frontline? I've spoken with fellow small dog owners and they usually just use it during the warmer months when the dog might be out and about and interacting with lots of other dogs. it's so easy to use and you just need to apply it once a month to their coats... |

| Frontline works great on all of my animals, from my cat, to Jack my 7 month old, to my 100 pound chow mix. I never see a flea or tick, and I live in a wooded area.
