| Skin problems Is there a way to check by looking at a pup and, see if it will have skin problems? |

| skin Sure, run a comb through the hair and look at the skin...it should be clean and flea free..no scrabs or crusty sores, no brown spots or bumps..no black flea dirt. They should smell clean and nails clipped, smell the ears and look inside, they should be clean and no black grime...put a damp Q-tip inside to see..many times skin problems start in the ears...pup can have mites and scratch sores behind the ears and side of face. Dry flakey skin can actually be walking dandruff, a type of skin mite..a mess the deal with.. |
