| Toads Cause Seizures even death in dogs??? I was reading up about the Cane/Buf Toads and how they cause seizures and even death in dogs. We had two pet toads for 5years that used to crawl over the dogs. From what I understand the dog has to bite them to be poisoned. This concerns me with Mya going up to the cottage. I just bought her a life vest to protect her, now I will have to watch out for toads. Since she is a puppy she may bite one. http://www.petplace.com/Articles/art...ads?artID=2752
