I thought I'd start a new thread on this. Since we all know that there is one brand of dry food that remains "unnamed" that has possible contamination, I thought we could all check our brands of dry food and post if you find wheat gluten as one of the ingredients.

I'll go first. I've checked:
Royal Canin Puppy 33 -- no wheat gluten
Royal Canin Yorkshire -- no wheat gluten

please check the ingredients on your brand of dry food, and post if it does or does not contain wheat gluten. I personally would want to steer clear of any foods that contain it.

Says it contains WHEAT - don't know if that means there is wheat gluten ???

it states that it is not part of the recall, that their products DO NOT CONTAIN ANY WHEAT GLUTEN ....

Castor & Pollux - Natural Ultramix - NO wheat gluten
Pro Plan - Chicken/Rice - says whole grain wheat not wheat gluten...does contain corn gluten
Purina ONE - chicken/rice - NO wheat gluten
Merrick - granny pot pie- NO Wheat gluten

I looked all these up online as i threw my bags away.

Nutro Max has wheat flour as its third ingredient, does this mean it has the gluten, its second is corn gluetin.

Purina Dog Chow no wheat.

That is a great list. I had already checked with my dog food's manufacturer, and was glad to see it listed.
