| sick puppy I am writing this for a friend of mine who spent a lot of money on a baby yorkie. She got her when she was 8 weeks old. At first no problems -then the puppy got a virus and was in puppy icu for awhile. She got over that-now she is throwing up daily off and on. She has spent almost 2k in vet bills. SHe is on several meds and has had xrays etc. They think she has an enlarged esphogas..(spell?). My friend is soo upset crying and crying - not sleeping etc. This puppy means the world to her. She plays some and has good days and bad days. Now I think the vet is referring her to a specialist but taking her sweet time in doing so. She has to go through all memorial weekend with her puppy throwing up like this. I took over some chicken broth and the puppy loves it and has kept some of it down but thrown up some. I told her to go to another vet right away and get another opinion. The meds must not be working and I dont' think it is good for a puppy to throw up all day off and on. SHe has called the breeder - she got a 90 day warranty - and the breeder didnt offer any financial help. Anyone have any ideas or good vets in Fort Worth or Dallas, Texas area??? Thanks, Vicky |
