| I have read that a lot of people give scrambled eggs. I usually give Simon and Hallie some egg whites once a week but I don't know what the nutritional value is. |

| I remember hearing that years ago about mixing a egg yolk in with their food. I wouldn't feed mine raw eggs though. |

| I give Millie scrambled eggs (she does not like hard boiled) about 1 to 2 times a week. I give 1/2 the egg on Sunday for her breakfast and she gets leftovers on monday morning.

| Here is a link to a site that will help you when you have questions: http://mooreshaven.com/pets/dogs/saf...foodslist.html Raw egg whites contain a protein called avidin, which can deplete your dog of biotin, one of the B vitamins. Biotin is essential to your dog?s growth and coat health. Additionally, raw eggs are often contaminated with bacteria, such as salmonella, and you could end up giving your dog food poisoning in addition to biotin deficiency. Symptoms of biotin depletion are hair loss, weakness, growth retardation and skeleton deformity. If your dog is suffering from these symptoms the situation is urgent, and veterinary treatment is needed. Cooked eggs are high in protein and make an excellent treat. It is only the raw eggs that should not be given to your dog.

| Scrambled or boiled. If you scramble, use either a tiny bit of olive oil or real butter. Never give raw eggs. They can actually get salmonella poisoning. |
