Who's Got ALOT of Hair??? Both Roxy and TJ have alot of hair, I mean REALLY - ALOT of Hair Why is this? I don't mind, except for all the mats and pee hair. Roxy has more than TJ. It is a constant battle of trimming and buzzing. I have to keep up with buzzing her under belly and butt every other week. Even with her under belly, her pits her inside of all 4 legs and privates buzzed - she still has got a lot of hair and hair that grows fast. Does anyone else have this problem and what do you do to handle this beast - hahahaha

| My Hokule'a has a ton of hair too! I trim them both up every week before their baths but I swear I could make another pup out of all her hair - LOL!

Me too! ...TJ and Roxy are not at all on the 'way too skinny' side, but with ALL their hair, they both look like Piggies, I always have to explain that's their hair that makes them look fat

My Mia too! And it makes her clothes fit tighter. I see everyone on the GE putting their sizes down for small and I"m wondering why Mia is the same weight and size but smalls are always too tight for her. Oh well as long as she's happy... that's all that matters!

Buddy never had hair before. I always kept him in a puppy cut but have been letting it grow out since last Oct. I have applaud all you ladies who deal with this hair everyday. This morning I really think I have deceided to go back to a puppy cut! I couldn't wait to see that Yorkie part down the middle of his back, now that I finally am seeing it I can't take it anymore.

Maggie has lots of hair too, and now I'm letting it grow (she used to have a pup cut)... Her hair is soo soft and thin, it's so nice to touch The only bad thing about it is that I have to brush her every 2 days, otherwise she gets mats all over her legs and chest... On the other hand, Hannah doesn't has lots of hair... And she has a thick hair that mats all over her!!! The weird thing is that the breder said she's silk hair... But I've read somewhere that silk coat doesn't tangle easy...

My Zada has the nice show coat type of hair, but Azrael has the really thick hair. I cut them back short, but am regretting cutting Zada and now am letting her hair grow out. I wont cut her hair ever again. I will continue keeping Azrael cut real short on her body, but keep the leg and chest hair long, the face hair medium and let her have a top knot again.

I don't know for sure what kind of hair they have Roxy's hair is straight, lots and lots of it, but her hair is fine and soft. When she comes out of the bath, her hair has some wave to it, but after blown dry (still some wave to it) and then only the next day does that wave go straight. Roxy needs a bath every other weekend. She gets lots of mats and they are hard to get out, plus by that weekend she is a little greasy. TJ has curly and wavy hair. Again, he has lots of it, his hair is more fine and softer than Roxy's. TJ could go a month without a bath. I do not blow his hair straight - he would like ridiculous. When he is wet, my put Cowboy Magic all over him and then towel dry him. I brush his hair and then scrunch it into his natural curl. I then blow him dry (softly and only a little bit), still scrunching his hair. I do not put a brush through his hair for a few days. He gets minimal mats and they come out very easy. All his hair is very wavy, but the area on his back towards his tail is kinky - I have no idea why that area has a completely kinky curl
