Default Do any of you guys feed more than 1 kind of kibble?

If so, do you mix the 2 kinds and feed at once or do you alternate different days?? I remember reading somewhere that some of you like to give a little variety.

I have in the past mix kibbles than I read somewhere it is better to rotate between premium brands of kibbles every few months. Now, I just feed him some Canidae kibbles mixed with home cooked.

Hannah eats canidae but before that she ate wellness. I still have a whole bag of wellness left and so I thought I would mix them. She ate every single piece of the canidae and all that was left was the wellness...LOL. It was so funny to see her bowl with only the wellness left.

Chloe did that with a mix of Royal Canin and Chicken soup for the puppy lovers soul. I don't know how she managed to pick out the RC from the other tiny kibbles, but she did.

I feed both Life's Abundance and Canidae lamb and rice. I mix them both in a kibble storage container and they get equal amounts.

I feed my dogs 1 kibble at a time but I rotate every 3 months. I only use 5 or 6 star kibble.

yes, I mixed 2 dry kibbles (EVO by Innova and Merrick dry kibble). When I feed them, I also add a wet food just to coat the kibble. They get different kinds of wet as well (Evangers, Merrick and another brand that I can't seem to remember the name at the moment )

I feed 2 different kinds of food. I was just feeding Science Diet Puppy (small bites) but it was so rich in protein it was giving them the runs. Vet recommended that I mix it with Purina Puppy Chow. Now that I am using Science Diet Adult (Small Bites) I use Purina Dog Chow (Small Bites). I mix about half and half, maybe a little more Science Diet. Haven't had the runs anymore either.

I feed my girl Innova and mix it with Nutro for sensitive stomachs. She loves the mix.

After trying several EXPENSIVE brands. It's the only thing they could keep down and not have the runs all over the carpet. I think they are pretty good actually. Not nessacarily with the Purina, but everything else is just too rich in protein for their sensitive tummies. I've been pretty happy with Science Diet, I've had wonderful healthy Yorkies ever since! So maybe it's crap for you, but it was the only solution that created solid stools. That was my main concern after all this happened.

Well, I'm hardly the one to give advice... I just got my yorkie puppy and she doesn't eat kibble AT ALL. I want her to, but she just won't! She licks it and then spits it out. I have to give her a mushy formula with baby food that she licks off a spoon haha. So, I don't blame you. If my baby would eat Science Diet or Purina, I'd probably give it to her every day too. I'm going to try Royal Canin, and if she won't chew that.. then who knows, maybe I'll try your mix. Sorry, didn't mean to come off as rude!

Just a warning, do not give your yorkie any baby food. It has large amounts of salt, onions and garlic. The amounts are large enough to cause damage as yorkies cannot eat onions/garlic as it is poisonous. Just wanted to let you know
