| Alot of members here use Chris Christensen brushes. They are too pricey for me. You can use any brush, really, as long as it passes "the test." Take a brush that you are thinking about using the rub it up and down your arm a couple of times. If it makes scratches on your arm, then it is too harsh for your yorkie's skin. If it doesn't make any marks, then it should be good to use. Make sure you do the "test" periodically bc brushes can wear down and get dull. |

| We use a CC pin brush on Miko & Emma, and it works wonderfully, but it doesn't have to be CC. Just look for a pin brush that doesn't have the little balls on the end because they tend to break the hair. Also, don't brush him dry. Use a good detangling spray or light leave-in conditioner before you brush Good luck!!

| Rosi had a very cotton coat and was a nightmare to get matts out when she was a puppy. I bought the CC slicker brush and gold pin Brush which both mine love. Spendy though !

| We have had three different brushes. Our baby has a cottony coat and she's fought and bit the brushes we've had, up until we got the C.C. gold brush. Wow! What a difference. It slips through her coat like a hot knife through butter. Pricey? Yes. But very much worth not having to fight and struggle to brush her. We also found that the spray CoatHandler works wonders along with the C.C. brush. Between the two of them that cottony coat turns into a silky coat. |

| I have two CC brushes and one of their Buttercombs. My cottony pup HATED being brushed until I got one of these and the first time I used it, she rolled over to have her belly brushed --- that sold me. That first one was one of the Gold Series and then I got one of the Fusion brushes - in a smaller size. That is really nice too and the smaller size works great for my smaller one or to get into tighter places. Once I tried to use the old brush on the cottony one and she totally rebelled! I couldn't believe it. A lot of the brushes out there damage the coat and/or scratch the skin. Just my experience... |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | I have to agree with Omega. I also bought one of CC new brushes--it almost looks like a regular brush. It is supposed to remove static--it does on 5 of the six. LOL I also use Plush Puppy as a spray or CC Ice on Ice. |
