What is this? I thought Rosie was peeing in her sleep because she's wet in the mornings with a wet spot under her. But this doesn't smell like pee and is not yellow. Anyone have a clue what it could be?

That problem showed up for Katy too after she was fixed. I didn't notice it right away, so I am not sure when it shows up. My vet said that it happens sometimes after spaying. When they are totally relaxed, some pee will come out. Just a small amount. He prescribed Proin 50. I had to break it in to a tiny piece. We did that for a while and the problem is now gone. I am not sure if Rosie has the same thing, but it sounds like it.

She might be sucking on her blankie or whatever is under her. Tink was doing that for awhile. I couldn't figure out why she was wet in the morning until one afternoon she was napping and I heard this little noise. When I looked, she was asleep, sucking on her bed liner.

I talked to the vet and I need a urine sample. First they will check if she has a urniary track infection, if she's diabetic, or if she has kidney problems. If neither of these are the issue then they will do more test. Now the problem is getting the urine sample.

This has happened a few times with my puppies. I finally figured out that they were throwing up and then they lick it back up. Leaving a wet spot. I woke up one night and caught my dog doing it. I always thought it might be pee, but it didn't smell like it and it wasn't yellow. Now I know. And it doesn't happen anymore.

Surely you don't have to collect it yourself. My dog had a urinary tract infection and the vet took urine (I suppose by catheter) and tested it right then and there.

I read on YT to use a pee pad and place it upside down so the pee doesn't get absorbed. Then poor the pee in a ziplock bag. This was real hard since she mostly goes outside, but I managed to slide the pee pad under her and get some. I will take her today and find out what's wrong.
