Make Shampoo & Treats Does anybody make their own shampoo or treats? I know, these two are totally unrelated I was thinking about trying some, and if it worked out, sell some in my store. Little Stitches If I try some treats, and they turn out well, I'll make some free samples for YT'ers!!

There are lots of recipes for dog treats/bisquits on the internet. Haven't made any, but when I was looking for bisquit recipes (for people to eat for breakfast) recipes for dog bisquits kept coming up. Wish you much success with your enterprise.

Good luck! Let us know how your homemade recipes work out! I just ordered a doggy cookbook online today so I can't wait for it to come in the mail so I can try my hand at doggy cookie making too!

I think you could have a business there...most people don't consider themselves too handy in the kitchen or just don't have the time to go baking for their pups! For me personally, it's a hobby of mine. Just call me Betty Crocker! I love to bake, and I'm guessing you do too! I ordered a book called Small Dog's Doggy Bone Cookbook: "The Fun, Easy Way to Bake Love and Nutrition Into Your Dog's Diet" by Michele Bledsoe. It even comes with a tiny bone-shaped cookie cutter! Too cute. I'll do a few trial runs and let you know if there's any recipes in there that work out well if you'd like. Here's the write up about the book: After testing hundreds of dog bone recipes, author Michele Bledsoe chose only the very best for this fun-loving collection. Whether readers are looking to bake up a wholesome treat, create a special birthday bone, or cure Fido''s bad breath, this book provides easy-to-make options for every imaginable pooch-related purpose and comes with a dog bone-shaped cookie cutter. Recipes include Cinnabones, Pea-mutt Butter, Bark-B-Que, and many others, as well as helpful tips such as how to bake the biscuits to perfection. All recipes are veterinarian-approved. | |

It does work beautifully and it helps keep fleas off as well because of the vinegar I think.

Well, I was debating how I was going to test it out. I'm still looking for a yorkie, but we have a lab, so I might try it on her. Otherwise I was planning on making little samples and sending them out free to people on YT who would try them out and tell me what they thought!! If I do send out samples, would you be interested? I guess I can take names now, and then if I can get it to work, I can send it out with a form to return.
