| Roscoe's skin condition My little boy has developed a skin condition. The vet has tried multiple tests and treatments, but is not sure what is causing his scaly, flaky skin. I was wondering if it was a food allergy because about 2 weeks before developing this I swited him from the Three Dog Bakery's dog food to Buffalo Blue, but it seems odd that it would be since the affected skin isn't all over his body. Anyone have any thoughts on this situation? What is the best food for him to be on? I initially switched becaue I moved and the Three Dog Bakery is now an hour away, and Pet's Mart is just down the street. The people at Pet's Mart suggested Buffalo Blue, but not only does he have a skin condition, his stool is often runny too. Any advice? |

| Check the ingredients and see if there is corn in it. That often causes the itchies. I am not familiar with blue buffalo food. The soft stools coould be from changing the food

| Well, if the vet doesn't know for sure................neither do we. My advice is to switch back to the 3 dog bakery and see if the condition improves..........if so, you know that whatever is in the buffalo food does not agree with your furbaby. It could well be the food, but until you do find out.........try the easier and cheapest route (put them back on the old food and see what happens). Chachi is correct-many yorkies are allergic/sensitive to corn and other ingridients but you don't know what it really is for sure. I think it's worth a try.............if you cannot make the 1 hr drive, consider ordering it online from their website? Best wishes to you
