Which one is better...

Royal Canin MINI Canine Health Nutrition Yorkshire 28
OR
Nutro Natural Choice

Right now Coco is eating the Nutro Natural Choice for puppys but I was thinking about changing 2 Royal Canin... which one would u recommend?

I think Nutro is rated higher than royal canin but mine love royal canin

love. It's Royal Canin for Yorkies. It's been three weeks now. Today I went out and bought the big bag. My thoughts on the food subject is just find one that yours will eat.

I don't think RC gets a very high rating...I had been feeding the girls Nutro Ultra (puppy and dog...I have one of each!) That didn't get a very good rating either...about 2 months ago I changed them both over to Canidae all stages...the kibbles are small and they love it...My adult has always been a very picky eater and she loves it! Lillie will eat anything! I mix a little of the soft Canidae...just for a treat...

I also noticed the same things. It seems picky eater likes canidae. Also pups that like Nutro usually likes canidae. I just bought another bag of it.

I say feed your Yorkie whatever they will eat, if they are a picky eater. FeBe is an..d we were and still are a little, feeding her Purina Beneful. I know it is not good for her.. I just started putting a little Royal Canin mini puppy in with it. She likes it!! I am just glad to see her eat.

I feed Tucker the Nutro, but I'm wondering at the quality of it, like is it too much fillers and whatnot as Tucker seems to poop more than he eats. Does anyone know of a food that has less fillers than the Nutro? My mom's yorkie just poops 2x per day, but she feeds eukanuba (I know). Tucker's pooped 3 times today before 7:30 am (I feed him at 5:00 am)

I now feed Daisy Royal Canin MINI Canine Health Nutrition Yorkshire 28. She was on Nutro but I found her scratching alot so I changed it and she's not been scratching and she loves the Royal Canin.

I also noticed the same. I was with giving her innova but she did not like it. I switched to nutro because she likes it. When I switched at that time I noticed her poops are bigger. Because canidae quality is better, I try to switched her to canidae after getting their sample and she seems ok with it.
FYI don't switched to often, I switched her every 2-3 months.

I do feed Canidae to my puppy also. He was scratching a lot and switching food does seem to help. Plus he likes it better than what I feeding him before which was Iams (I know, Iams is bad for Yorkies). He is doing great now!!!!!

Whatever store you go to, ask them to give you a sample before you buy a bag, your puppy might not like it. Mine loves Canidae.

I feed Royal Canin puppy 33, I'll switch to yorkshire 28 later when she's an adult. Chloe does NOT like Nutro Natural choice no matter what I did to it: dry, wet, mixed with canned, mixed with chicken, sprinkled with freeze dried liver. no way, no how LOL

The first time I put the royal canin puppy 33 in her food bowl (with the nutro kibbles) she eagerly ate up all the royal canin and left the nutro kibbles.
