| I'm not an expert, but it does sound like it could be luxating patella. Pups will look like they are "skipping" almost. If the knee caps slips too much, the leg will lock and it does cause pain. I hope it is nothing major, but I would ask to check this out.

| The vet can't do anything unless you take him, and the sooner the better. Has he jumped off anything recently? Have you tried feeling down his leg to determine if the pain is in his leg or toes? Check his toenails?

| Sure sounds like luxating patella. I've had two dogs with this. One had it in one knee only and would pick it up and go on three legs till the knee cap went back into place, and then my Zada had both knees operated on at once. If it isn't corrected and it gets to a 4, then they can't do anything to help the knee. |

I agree, my yorkie had to have both knees done it can lock in and out so one min can be painful and the next they can move as if nothing is wrong but needs to be looked at. This is why good breeding practices are so very important. |
