| Puppy puked in the Car On Friday, I got home and took TinyBaci for a ride with me in my car. He was sitting on my lap fine but as my hubbie apprpoached the bank, Tiny started squirming like he wanted to get down, I pulled him back torward me and then I felt something wet on my lap...I thought his nose was running but I looked down and to my surprise it was chunky doggie kibble, my poor puppy puked on me, I was so frightened. He just looked tired and a little sickly after that. We brought him home and he took a nap, he was fine after a few minutes. I'm guessing he might have gotten car sick... He's been in the car maybe 5 times before that but he was fine. Does anyone have similar stories? Should I be worried?

| My Chewy use to get car sick, but then i bought him a doggie carseat the best thing i ever bought for him because it allows him to see out the windows which is why i think he use to get sick, not to mention it is much safer than having him on my lap.

| Poor TinyBaci! Lucy can sympathise, when she was a puppy she was sick in the car more often than not. We got round it by taking her out a lot, but driving really slow and gently so she got used to the motion. We also made sure it was a while since she had eaten a lot so that her tummy wasn'y so full. I think a car seat is a great idea! Madam though has a car harness, so sleeps on her blanket while we are on the move! |

| Sorry your little one had moment in the car that wasn't too pleasant. Yeah, it does sound like he just got a little car sick. I think most doggies grow out of it though - maybe keep the rides real short and sweet then gradually increase the distance he goes.
