| I am not an expert by any means....but if I were in your situation, I would probably get the teeth pulled at the same time so he won't have to be anestitised 2 times. Please keep us updated as to when he has the surgery and how he is recovering so we can keep him in our thoughts. |

| no they usually don't even sedate a dog to pull baby teeth unless they fight or try to bite them baby teeth don't have roots it will be ok.

| Both Snickers and Baxter had baby teeth pulled at the same time they were neutered. There were no problems at all. The next day they were able to eat. I was worried too that it would be too much. But the vet assured me that it was better to do it while he was under anesthesia already. After Snickers had it done, I didn't hesitate to do the same with Baxter.

| You just need to make sure they use the proper anesthesia for small dogs. I don't know enough about it to tell you what that is. We also did microchip and baby teeth no problem. Don't do the pain killer unless necessary! Loki got terrible diarrhea - it was AWFUL. Neutering is easier than a spay. Also, opt for the laser if they will do it - much faster healing.

| I'd do both at the same time so he's not alert when the vet is yanking out his teeth.

| When my girls got fixed they had their canines romoved at the same time. I also had Piper microchipped. They did great. Misha's roots were so long I am glad I had it done the same time. Wouldn't want to risk her going under more than she had to. |

| I just had one of my chihuahuas done a month ago, (18 mos old) and she was spayed and had ALL of her baby teeth removed, as she never lost any and had 2 sets of teeth for over a year...ugh..not to say how bad her breath had become. We were afraid to do it because of her weight and the anesthesia...she's 1 lb 12oz full grown. She is absolutely fine and recovered in 3 days. |
