Little bumps on eyelids?? What is this?! Does anyone know if this is an allergy..my baby has a few spot on his eyes..little skin colored bumps..almost look like little pimples or something. I don't know what this is but I was hoping I could get some help on here...he scratches a little but not constantly so I don't know what to think! He doesn't act like it bothers him at all. Concerned!!Thanks for any info...

It could be allergies, especially if you walk your baby. They are so close to the dirty ground, then the wind blowing all the dust and dirt up in their little faces. Each time I walk my girls, I always wash their eye and face with distilled water soon as we get back home. If those little bumps don't go away in a couple of days, or they grow, I would have a Vet. check them out.

I don't know if it is the same thing, but our older Retriever mix gets these on her eyelids (so does her brother from the same litter) and they have to be removed by the vet. I suppose they are kind of like skin tags on people. omega

I went to the vet over the weekend and he gave me some ointment to put in his eyes 3 x's a day so hopefully that will clear them up...I am still unsure of what they are but if the drops don't work then I will take him back in...thanks for the help!!

its probably a sty. Winnie had one a few months ago. The ointment works...also try putting a damp warm cloth on the eye as well. It should go down and disappear within a week.
