Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Merrick Texas Toothpics Are the Merrick's Texas Toothpics okay to give our furkids. I bought one for each of mine and they just love them. But now I wonder if they are okay. Anyone have an opinion???

| I know the Merrick's Flossies are safe for them so I'd imagine the toothpicks are too. I'll have to find those somewhere so Kona and Bernie can try them. Kona and Bernie love the Flossies so much that I'd bet they'd like the toothpicks.

| Merrik sells top quality food and treats. I went to their site and the Texas Toothpicks are puffed cow tails. I would venture to say that they are a GREAT treat. Just use the same due care you use when they are chewing on ANY chew toy. |

| Wesley got one in the last gift exchange. He absolutely loved it! But I did watch him like a hawk when he was eating it (as I do whenever he has any chew) so I could take it away when it got too small. |

| Oscar's breeder recommended texas toothpicks (not specifically merricks). My two LOVE them, they don't smell, and they can't break off big chunks so there is a smaller chance of choking. I definitely take them away when they get too small though - just like I would any other chew.
