| How do you care for your yorkies teeth? Just wondering what is the best and easiest way to care for their teeth? My vet was not alot of help in this area. I try to brush both of my boys teeth but they fight me all the way. Remmy's breath is bad and I cannot get the build up off his teeth. Just wondering how everyone else does it or is there a miracle product out there?

Lovin' 2 Girls Donating Member | I have Abigail (13 m/o Yorkie) and Mozart (12 y/o mix) and I never 'do teeth'. They seem to have strong, tartar-free teeth from grinding on the RAW bones in their diet. Neither of them ever have bad or 'doggie' breathe. When I took Mozart in for a first exam by his new vet (old one and I had disagreement about vaccines), she guesstimated him to be around 7. He was 11 at the time. When she looked in his mouth, words like "amazing" and "that's just awesome" came forth. She's never suggested a teeth cleaning - so far.

| The best thing I have found it the tooth brush you slide on ur finger. I find them at walgreens and it had ridges on it you slide it on your finger and place the doggy toothpaste on it. It allows me to control the brushes easier than those oversized dog toothbrushes that will not even fit in my yorkies mouth!!! Before I found this item I just put some toothpaste on my finger and rubbed down GRacie's teeth with it. She does put up a fight but its so much easier if I just use my finger!!!! I also found this item at Petsmart here is the link: http://www.petsmart.com/global/produ...brush&N=2&Ne=2
