| Hotspot Suggestions? I took Maddie to the vet on Friday. I found a scab on the side of her face and noticed her itching the sore frequently. Maddie was diagnosed with an ear infection which was causing of her itching herself. So now she has a little hot spot. I have an ear cleaner to use every other day, and medicated ear drops to use twice a day. I?ve been doing this since Friday evening. I am still noticing her itching, however not as frequently as before. I checked her little hot spot and noticed it was very red. I?m sure it?s not comfortable. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to help her feel a little more comfortable? Maybe I can apply some Neosporin or something? Also, how long should it take for the ear infection to clear up? My poor baby, I hate seeing her uncomfortable. Thanks! Jamie |
