Is milk ok occasionally for an 18 week old Yorkie? Haven't tried it yet, just wondering if it would be OK, and if so, would 1% or skim milk do? If not, what other liquids would be OK in small amounts? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

I give milk to mine Mine is 14 weeks old and i give her 2% everyday to every other day depends on if she eats right that day or not. I also have a 7 year old and she get milk when she has trouble going poop. That is what my vet said to get her. I also think it helps the ears stand up if they get calium.

Then, he threw it right back up! Mama says "no more milk for Toto"! Guess I'm in the doghouse for the day! BTW, Toto is doing fine, and as I'm writing this, he's brought his favourite slipper to my feet to play tug-o-war with! (he's lost most of his deciduous teeth now)!

Just a little I love YT! Everybody always asks the right ?'s. Yesterday I went home for lunch to be with Josie, I was so busy playing with her that I didn't have to fix myself anything to eat so I had a bowl of cereal. I had some milk left over and thought it would be a nice treat if I spoon fed her the last of the milk. She loved it and gave me kisses. It must have been just about 1/4 cup. She was just fine.
