| Bathing how often? Our little Lexus tends to always walk through her pee puddle after she does it, and then tracks her pee around the house with her. Hence, she often gets smelly quite quickly. We've been using puppy wipes to wipe her feet after she goes, but that only goes so far. Is a weekly bath too often? We find that after a week she tends to look like she has oily hair and looses her fluffyness! Last edited by Princess 101; 12-28-2006 at 07:15 AM. |

| HI I HAVE A YORKIE jack daniels, nicknamed jd. He gets a bath every two weeks. True he's not as fluffy that long but after having 3 yorkies it seemed like a good number on them. He gets a nice smelly cream rinse to boot. Then a blow-dry with lots of petting.. None have had fleas ever, and only use a shampoo in summer with flea-tick control, never a collar. His skin isn't flaky or coat to brittle. Good luck with what ever you try!! ginger pontlitz |

| I wash mine about every 2 weeks use a conditioning rinse for dogs. I brush them every night. If needed I do a sink bath of their feet and privates in between.

| Mojo tends to get bathed once a week (he might go a little longer, but that is my fault) - Ha! He has started to get watery eyes - most be the bitter cold wind outside and hot dry wood heat inside - so, I am washing his face more often now too! I have always washed up his privates, butt and face when needed though - sometimes 3 times a week. Someone mentioned using Johnson's Baby Shampoo for these little inbetween cleanings. Hope that helps!
