Ew, loose stools. Is it okay for puppies to have a loose stool every once in a while, as long as it doesn't become episodic or really watery?

My puppy had loose poop for awhile and when we took him for his first vet visit it turned out he had a common parasite and we were given meds for it. Does your puppy eat kibble? That might help harden it. If it is loose for a long time it might be a good idea to have his stool tested

| An occasional loose stool is normal for Toto ... I make sure she has plenty of water and just keep an eye on her. I think they are all pretty much different.

Yeah he's already run the gamut with parasites and all that good stuff. It's really like once a week that each of them will have one loose stool maybe, and then not again for quite a while. I'll just stay on the poop lookout.

If you put your dog on dry food do not give him kibbles give him something like Eukanuba or Science Diet they are some of the best dog food you can give your dog. Charlie is on Eukanuba he can not eat wet food he gets the runs really bad. Alot of the dog food in the Grocery store are cheap and bad for your dog.
