| Is this cookie really OK for dogs? I was watching Ham on the Street last night on the Food Network. The show was about cookies. He made a cookie that he says is dog friendly. I just wanted to make sure with all of you if these ingredients are really OK for dogs before I make it for my furbaby. I would probably have to eliminate the corn meal though because my dog is allergic to corn. Here are the ingredients: 2 cups whole-wheat flour, plus more for rolling 1/2 cup cornmeal 1/2 cup wheat germ 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 3 large eggs 1/4 cup carob chips 1/4 cup honey 2 to 3 tablespoons water, as needed Here's the link to the recipe just in case anyone else is interested in making them http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/reci..._35366,00.html |

| They sound good to me, except for the corn meal of course. I don't know if the texture would be the same without it, but hopefully they'd still be yummy Some dogs are allergic/sensitive to wheat and/or wheat gluten, so just be aware of that and watch for any signs of that after eating the cookies.
