| The tastiest dry food My chelsea eats Innova puppy mix with small spoon of Merrick canned food. She is now 5 months. She will not eat the dry food alone unless if she is extremely hungry. I am thinking to switch her to other brand with small kibble. I need your opinion. What is the most tastiest dry food ? I am reading the post it seems Nutro lamb and rice formula is quite tasty but I heard that Nutro brand is not that good. I am thinking of Solid Gold wee bit small or Merrick puppy dry food. Any suggestion or personal experience ? |

| Gracie loves the Natural Balance Venison and Brown Rice formula. She used to like the Royal Canin tiny puppy, Chicken Soup, and Ultra. Then she went off all of her dry, except for those bits that she stole from the cats, which was Natural Balance Venison and Pea. So, I thought, OK, you like Natural Balance Cat Food, you should like the dry dog food. And she does! The kibble is kind of large but Gracie handles it just fine. I wish these companies would put out sample sizes so we don't have to spend a fortune on food that our animals hate!

| Oscar had a "chronic sore" for over a year. I switched him over to Wellness Fish & Sweet Potato and he finished the first bag...the sore is gone! He no longer has the itchies either. Now it smells rank...like fish, but he loves it! And I went to get the second bag and Wellness has treats as well...I got him the yogurt, Apple & Banana treats...he loved those as well. I will add that Oscar was very picky...thought I would never get him off of the Royal Canin...he hated everything else, but loved the Wellness right off the bat. The Royal Canin was small bites that he swallowed whole. The Wellness is bites that are smaller than a Hershey's Kiss, about half the size, but he has to chew them, which is good for his teeth. I highly recommend the Wellness and I think it is rated pretty well! Good luck!

| Thank you for all your suggestion. She does not eat her innova kibble now even when I mixed it with merrick. She probably eats only 5-8 kibbles. I stop giving her treat too so she will be hungry. Should I try other brand now or wait ? I do not want to make her more picky by changing to many brands. Thanks. |

Keep in mind that at 5 months, your pup is still teething. If their gums are irritating them, they will eat less just like us humans. Hope this helps.

| I got some Canidae samples in the mail today and 3 of my 4 think it is great. Both Yorkies gobbled it up. They even picked it out when I mixed it with their current food. The fourth is my stubborn dachshund and she won't eat anything -- dry dog food that is; but I keep trying. I am going to order the Canidae online as I have not found it here locally. I think it is a very good food and it is also All Life Stages so they can eat it from puppy to senior.

| Both of mine each Canidae All Life Stages mixed with Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lovers Soul. They love BOTH of those foods and they are EXTREMELY picky eaters. |
