| poodle brother vomiting Dudley's brother Mitchell is acting very strange. He has suddenly refused to eat. I haven't changed his food, and once in a while he will eat, but then all of a sudden, he stops. Yesterday he wouldn't eat breakfast and started to vomit bile(yellow foam). I gave him some karo syrup to stimulate his appetite, put him in his crate with his food and went to work. He ate while I was at work, then last night he ate okay. This morning, the same thing. He wouldn't eat so in with the syrup and food in the crate. I came home & he still wont eat at lunch time. I put him back in the crate and came back to work. What do you think is happening with him? I realize he isn't a yorkie but you guys are good with general knowledge, thought you might have an idea for me to try. Do you think i should take him to the vet? |

| Ok I just wanted to make sure it wasnt a little pup that wasnt eating. The throwing up the yellow bile is usually nothing too worry about they will do that if they are hungry. The not eating is something to be concerned about because that can be an indicator that something is wrong. It sounds like he did eat yesterday for you but not today. I wuld give it a day or two and if it continues I would make a vet appt. If he starts vomiting his food make a vet appointment

| I have a senior toy poodle 17) He went through a stage off and on for a couple of years with throwing up yellow foamy saliva. I finally ignored the vet and switched his food. He also has a big bad heart murmur, so I was afraid to fuss with changing his habits too much. He's doing fine now and threw up Tuesday for the first time in about 6 months. So maybe he needs a switch of brands. As long as he is eating something, I wouldn't be too upset. Just keep an eye on him. Make sure he drinks though. |

| All right, he has quit eating again, only now he is doing very little pee. His poop was very small amt. but I figure that is because he isn't eating right. I am going to the vet this afternoon. I am so worried. Thanks for listening. |
