| What is your feeding routine?? Besides dogfood and treats, what else do you feed your yorkie on a daily basis? I'm not talking about chicken & rice every now and then, I'm talking about EVERYDAY. In the mornings I put out a fresh bowl of dog food (Canidae & Chicken Soup Puppy mixed) with Missing Link on top and I put out a fresh bowl of water with a capful of Apple Cider Vinegar in it. Then, either at lunch or in the evenings, I put cut up carrots and/or broccoli and a little sprinkle of parmesean cheese on top of their food. That pretty much covers my feeding routine. So, what is YOUR feeding routine???? |

| Feeding Conner is 8 months old. The vet told me to feed him 3 times a day until he is one year. Conner is a very fussy eater! He eats Chicken Soup dry dog food (1/8 cup) mixed with 95% lean hamburg (which I fry every other day). He gets this 3 times a day and loves it! He goes to the vet tomorrow, and I will discuss this with him. |

| Hi RLC. Here's Our Routine About 30 mins after wakeup, we have a small organic cookie. Then we play, run wild, do peepee and poops, look out the door, go on the deck, and bark really loud. We see Mommy getting dishes out. We start to wimper and lick her legs. She says, "sumthin to eat?". Oh boy! She makes us 93% lean hamburger, or an egg, and mixes it with our kibble (Timberwolf Organics Black Forest and/or Innova Evo Red Meat), and we see her sneak in our "antioxidant" and biotin vitamins. Sometimes she mixes those in with our wet food, just a little, we like the smell (Evo Red Meat Beef or Venison). Before she leaves for work we get another kind of cookie, Venison Jerkey, Furminator Treats, or Skin and Coat Treats. Mommy is obsessed with our skin because we itch alot, and drive her and Daddy crazy. When Daddy gets home, we get a Nutrident Dental bone. When Mommy gets home, we pretend we didn't get the bone from Daddy, and she gives us half of another bone: Boneamint, N-bone, or pizzle. Around 6-7 pm, we eat dinner. We get almost the same thing as breakfast, but she chops us lightly cooked carrots and stringbeans, and sometimes gives us yogurt or cottage cheese on top. We run into the living room, do our happy dance on the couch, and then we get "dessert". We split half a brown rice cake, get a few kibbles on the carpet, but first we get our multi-vitamin. It's chewable, you know. Before bed, we take any medicine our doctor has us one. Wesley needs an antibiotic, so Mommy says, "Time for our meatballs!". She puts the pill in our wet food, rolls it in her hands, and makes the meatball. She puts probiotics in our wet food or applesauce twice a week. She thinks we can't smell it, but we can. Hey, she's a great Mommy. She cooks for us and spends lotsa time with us, and from what Daddy says, lotsa money on us, too. We always look forward to trying something new. Mommy makes sure it's organic, no preservatives, no salt, no sugar. Aah, what can I say. So, that's it for our "routine". Kiss your baby for us, Love, Spencer and Wesley (buuurpppp)

| My boyz get a tablespoon of California Natural Lamb and Rice soft food, warmed in the microwave for 9 seconds, with a dash of ML mixed in for their breakfast each day. I free feed a mix of dry food, the California Natural that was left, Innova and some Merrick's Grammies Pot Pie...which I didn't like for them but I'll use it up in a mix. For treats they get little cheesy bite crackers, I think they're called Lil' Buddy Bits or something like that. Other than that they get a scrambled egg once a week and sometimes they get baby carrots for a treat. Oh, and they get a fresh bowl of bottled water every morning. |

| I don't feed Gracie much people food. She has had such issues with Diarrhea that I just don't dare upset her tummy. I feed a consistent diet. I occasionally mix in some chicken baby food or shredded cheese for a bit of a treat when she is bored.

i drink tap filtered thru a brita when i'm tight on $$$. when i have extra $$$ i use bottled. i worry about giving romeo tap because i've read that the chlorine and fluoride in city water is very hard on their liver.

Oh no!!! It makes perfect sense, though. I need to invest in a Brita. I'm gonna get one when I'm at walmart 2morrow. Thank you VERY much for the info. | |
