I'd be interested in the answere to this also, because Ollie's nipples are swollen too and she also just got over her first heat. But I wouldn't think if they were pregnant it would show this soon.

Well as crazy as it seems... I am not 100% sure that they would not have some sign that soon... My yorkie had morning sickness 2 weeks after I got her from the breeder. Her mood was different... and her body changed rapidly.. you have to look at it this way.. if she is pregnant... then each week to her is like a month in humans... so they are going to grow and show and all that quicker... hope this helps..

My girl, Crick-Crock is wrapping up her first heat and not only are her nipples apparent & looking like nipples (instead of freckles) but her little booby part around each nipple looks swollen, like a real boob. I am so panicked that my sisters Pom got her while my sis was babysitting while I was on vacation. Ugh, that's all I need, a teenage pregnancy. My baby Crick-Crock is only 8 months. Her personality has changed , too. VERY clingy, whiny, sleepy, big poos.....urgh. I don't know....Is this her 1st heat or is she preggers?????

Can anyone tell me the symptoms to look for if my Yorkie is pregnant. Her teets are a bit swollen, and so is her pee pee area.. and she is a bit more aggressive.

| Sometimes dogs go through a pseudo pregnancy(false pregnancy)...Where they act pregnant but really aren't. It usually goes away after a few weeks. Did anyone actually see the dogs mating? The symptoms are swelling of the nipples, morning sickness, nesting, acts real hungry. This is what I have observed...there could be more. You can ask a breeder in the breeder section of the threads

I didn't know if my Yorkie was pregnant or not either and her symptoms included what you are explaining and she also threw up a lot and wouldn't touch her food for about three days. I was very worried because she had begun to lose quite a bit of weight. Now her eating has returned to normal and she seems to grow rounder by the day. Good Luck
