Yesterday was one of those days when Layla ate hardly anything.. maybe 15 bits of her food. which is fine.. some days she just isn't as hungry as others, except yesterday we had obedience and so she ate plenty of treats and had QUITE the upset tummy last night... she is fine today.. but i was wondering... if there is a next time... and i'm sure there will be! is there anything you can give dogs when their stomache is upset?? home remedies?? any ideas are great. thanks! |

| The treats did it. Can you use her regular food as treats? Boiled chicken with rice should do the trick. I add a little bit of cooked carrots with it and Piccolo loves it.

| Izzie had an upset tummy yesterday after her spay and the advice I was given was boiled chicken and rice. I bought boneless chicken breast, took one breast cut it lenght wise, and only used that much to boil. I was told to boil it until the pink is gone. I then cut it up in very small pieces and used minute rice. She wasn't all that interested until I put a teaspoon of Chicken broth on it. Now she is eating fine and eating her regular food too. Great advice here!!! Thanks everyone!!
