| Picking your food brand Like many others here, I am also on a hunt to find my two the best food that exists. I have read all the posts on Yorkietalk pertaining to brands of foods and I have been all over the internet for hours researching. I have found many brands that I believe are very good...they use real meats, no corn, more human-grade ingredients, etc.... I have narrow down my lists of foods to include: Innova, Canidae, Wellness, Artemis, California Natural. Nutro, Merricks, and Chicken Soup. While I have gotten down to this smaller list, I have no idea which one to pick out of them. They all sound really good to me, and it doesn't help to go to their websites because they all claim to be the best, of course. Does anyone else feel overwhelmed by the whole picking food thing? I just wish there was a definitive answer, like: ________ is the best food for yorkies. If there were I would do and pay just about anything to get it. If only it was that easy. So my question is: does anyone know anything wrong with anyone of the brands I mentioned above? If not, I have decided that I'm just going to see which food they prefer the most and stick with that. Thank you in advance. |

| All the brands of dog food you listed are great. You can't go wrong picking one of these. I give mine Chicken Soup and I made that decision because it was the only dog food they liked. I tried all the others you mentioned and they just didn't like them. So of course I got the dog food that they like. It is great, they love it and it has improved their coat and skin alot. I feel that all the foods you listed are great and any one you choose would be good for them. I think you should make your decision by which dog food they like the best. Get samples of each of the dog foods and let your dogs decide which one they like. JMO.
