california natural food Hi every one, i was wonder if any of you feed your yorkie california natural and if is any good or bad. Pheobe was eating eukanuba, (she didn't like it) then royal canin (she like it) but she start getting some ear infection, and itching i don't know if is because high on crude protein or corn or what; then i got some natural ultra mix and she will only eat the apples and blueberries, so know i got her californial natural dry and can she like it. So my main concern is if is good enough for her to have it permanent (or untill she get bored :confuse2: thank you for your time.(SORRY FOR MY GRAMMAR- ENGLISH MY SECOND LANGUAGE):ghug: love you all. |
My daughter feeds her Italian Greyhound, only 9 lbs in size, and he loves it and he also loves baby carrots for his snack instead of any other 'doggie treats'. I'm going to try it on my two yorkies, they are only 5 lbs each. They are on Royal Canin Light 30 now as they are 7 and 9 yrs old but they don't have the coat quality I'd like to see. They are picky eaters. Of course the IG doesn't even have much hair. |

California Natural doesn't use corn or meat by-products so if her stools are fine and no vomiting, etc. it sounds like a good food to me. |
Max and Abbie both eat California Natural Lamb meal and rice. Max was always a picky eater and he loves it. They both have been eating it for a year and haven't gotten bored with it. |

NATURAPET makes California Natural and Inova ... Quote:
her eyes sparkle, her coat is shiny and she acts like a pup. http://www.naturapet.com/display.php?d=product-detail&pxsl=%2F%2Fproduct%5B@id%3D%275%27%5D http://www.naturapet.com/images/bg/california_natural/ingr-caption.jpgick n an ingredient for more details. Ground Brown Rice Lamb Meal Ground White Rice Sunflower Oil Taurine Vitamins/Minerals I shall stick with this b/c itz excellent so far and if it ain't broken, don't fix it. I did not even switch to the chicken flavor b/c she shows such an interest in the lamb. Just a suggestion .... I do not work for them, nor am I affiliated with them in any way ... just a satisfied customer! |

I thank the person who suggested it to me every time I see him. |
Jo & Riley eat California Natural hard and soft food in the Lamb and Rice formula. California Natural is made by the same company that makes Innova but it doesn't have as many ingredients so it's easier on the digestive system for those who have sensitive tummies or for dogs with allergies. It's a very good food and they don't have any trouble eating the dry food even though they are small. |

I'm really pleased with this food so if Max and Abbie were smaller I would smash the pellest so they would be able to eat them--I wouldn't switch to a different food just because of the size of the pellets |
California Natural is an EXCELLENT food!   It got 5 stars on the Dog Food Reviews Website. You cannot go wrong feeding her that. EXCELLENT choice!   |
Gizmo eats California Natural it is also like Becca said among the Higest Foods around... he eats Chicken and Rice ... |
I feed Teddy Royal Canin 'cause that is what the breeder fed him and he seems to love it but I am thinking of changing his food now after reading all of your comments. Is Royal Canin a good choice? If not what should I try? I don't knoooooo lol |
