I have 1 heartguard left... and 2 dogs But I heard that there's a heartworm med that portects against A LOT of different worms... What do ya'll use, what's been the best, can switching to another heartworm brand hurt them??? THanks for any info. Tashia

| I use Interceptor which protects against other worms. Its probably a couple dollars more than heart guard. I buy mine at PetMeds.com I get it cheaper there than getting them from my vet. I have had no problems with Interceptor. |

| I prefer Intercepter or Sentinal....they are prescribed in accordance to you dogs weight. Heartguard posts up to 25 pounds.....There is Revolution which handles a multitude of worms, mites and fleas, it too is prescribed according to weight.

| I use Revolution for my little guy No problems at all It is prescribed by weight, but only for bigger dogs the smallest size they have is for dogs weighing like 8 -10 pounds and more but this size is used for little yorkies- I confirmed this with revolution and my vet |
