| neosporin for some reason my little yorkie looooovvvveeesss neosporin. i had to put some on a cut on my foot and he went to lick it. i tried to hide the bottle but he found it, bit a hole in it and was licking it. i found something that said he would be ok, i mean i caught him before he could do to much damage but im still worried. |

| Please be very careful with the neosporin. I had talked to my pharmacy and they said the to use very little on a yorkie because the antibotics in it could over dose our little one. So use only very little. Now eating it or licking it I wouldn't think would be good. Hope this helps a little. |

| Its probably isn't great for them, but the vet told me it would hurt them if they licked it off....

| funny lil guy romeo had a cut on his belly and i was putting a tiny bit of neosporin with pain relief on it. it was kinda funny because when he licked it off his tongue went numb and he was rubbing it on everything. no more neosporin 4 romeo. |

| I have been told by the vet that using neosporin is ok also. I asked about them licking it off.. he said if there isn't a whole lot on them it would be ok. I use it on bites that they get. they have their own tube. I do have to keep it up and away from the though or Ahia would have it for a snack.

| i feel a little better now, i put it somewhere he cant reach and he seems ok so i guess ill just see...oh and if you guys get a chance, i put a bunch of new pictures of him in the gallery if you want to take a look. |
