| Worming? At what age should I worm my yorkie? When we first got her a vet gave us a heartworm pill to give to her and she od'ed and almost died so I am paranoid about when to give it to her. I want her to be protected but I don't want to harm her the way she was harmed before. She is 4 and a half months old and I'm wondering for both heartworm and regular worms. THanks.

| Maybe a smaller dosage of the heartworm medication will help, instead of a whole pill a half, ask your vet. Interceptor heartworm prevention pills and several others control and remove some types of worms, worming seperately shouldnt be necessary. |
