| Innova Dog Food Hi All: Does anyone feed their yorkie the new Innova "Evo" food. It's a hi protein, lo carb and no grain dog food. The food is grown without using genetic engineering. It's made with raw turkey, chicken, eggs, garlic, apples, carrots and tomatoes. This food seems to be the new craze in NJ. My Comet tried some and loves it! Any good or bad experiences with it? Thanks, Cometsmom |

| I feed Gracie Innova EVO I did alot of reading on dog foods and this is the best one I have found. It is however high in fat so its important to feed in moderation otherwise you will have a "porkie yorkie" on your hands lol But yes I use Innova EVO and in my opinion I wouldnt feed anything else unless they can top Innova it is top on my list. Glad to hear about people feed high premium foods it is so much better for any type of dog.

| I'm not using Innova EVO right now because they only have the ones for adults at my petstore, i don't know it they have Innova EVo for pups.. But I am giving them Innova (the regular for pups) and it's the only food that i will put my pups on. Innova is a high quality food that I trust a lot. www.naturapet.com http://www.mordanna.com/dogfood/ |

| Do you have the food out for them all the time? You were talking about a "porky yorkie" and I think one of mine is getting close. |

| Wow, is that the ENTIRE ingredient list? If it is, I would totally want to switch to that!!! I haven't seen it yet, but I haven't looked for it either. |

| Thanks for the reviews: I've noticed already that Comet seems happier and more active eating the EVO. He also seems more content between feedings. I used to offer carrots and apples here and there between feedings, but the EVO diet already has those ingredients! he seems to be happy eating the EVO 3 times a day. I will certainly be careful not to feed too much of it. I love his size as it is now! Thanks Again, Cometsmom Last edited by cometsmom; 04-28-2005 at 04:08 PM. |

| I feed Archie innova wet food. he likes the dry too but the kibbles are pretty big, even though he's never actually complained about it! Anyway, when Archie's friends come over to play, they eat all his food! It's the best food and I like that the cans are smaller in size so I don't have to refrigerate a can for long periods of time--he can eat one can a day so it stays fresh all the time. I also like the fact that the company is not capitalizing on the "natural" pet foods market, while secretly making inferior products, too (ahem...Merrick). |

| It sounds great! I may have to try it....just one question about another dog food...Newman's Own? Anyone tried it? I know its organic (not just "all-natural"), but I wondered how/if any yorkie pooches liked it? Thanks! |

| I was considering Newmans Own before I put Gracie on EVO and it seems to be a pretty good food. I however never ordered any samples or bought any for Gracie to try so I wouldnt know how it goes over taste wise but definately a good food to consider trying for your Yorkie IMO Also EVO is high in fat and I feed Gracie 2 times a day and they say that is the maximum depending on the serving sizes. Innova EVO is a good food just hard to find I have to buy it on ebay
