| Do you have health insurance? I'm thinking about getting pet insurance for my two yorkies, Wesley and Maddie, because if anything should happen to them I want to know that I could afford any possible treatment. I was just wondering how many of you have pet insurance. And if you do, how much does it cost? What has your experience been with it? Have you ever had to use it? Also, what providers do you have? Thank you. |

| I don't have any but like you I wanted something for my animals in case an emergency came up. I looked and looked at all the health insurance they had, and they just didn't meet my needs. Also, I have 4 dogs, soon to be 6, and one of those dogs is a senior, and to pay all that money for insurance each month for all of them, would leave me broke. So I went with Care Credit, this way I know I can get my babies treated right away and I don't have to worry about what is or is not covered.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I have it for Cali and it has been very useful. They do exclude and conditions that your puppy/dog has been treated for prior to your getting the insurance. They require records from your vet. I have the Superior plan w/o routine and I pay 21.00 a month.

| I purchased the VPI Standard plan for Gracie. It costs about $200 per year, I purchased the additional cancer coverage. My vet has a great deal with a puppy package for the first year which includes all of the vaccines, fecal tests and as many office visits as I want/need, so for me the cadillac plan was just not cost effective. I feel better knowing I have this coverage.

| It sounds like pet insurance has been a good thing for those who have it. I think that I will get it for both my dogs. I know that I will feel much better knowing that they will be able to receive any treatment they might need. I only want the best for them! |

| N'Stein is insured for accident. It least if something stupid things happen he will be covered.
